Confirmation 20th June 2019

As the sun shone on the evening of Thursday 20th June, The Confirmandi and their families, together with the KS2 choir and parish community, gathered to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. It was a wonderful occasion led by Bishop William Kenney, and Father Sebastian. Well done to the children for their excellent preparations and reverence! Please don’t forget to pop in and see the children’s work on display in the church hall

Carnival news and photos

The sun was shining as excited families arrived at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery for this year’s Southam Carnival. Thanks must go to a core group of parents who led the preparations in school for this year’s ‘Holland’ themed float, which looked fantastic. The children looked ‘blooming lovely’ in their tulip-themed hats!

The judges agreed- St Mary’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery were awarded 1st place for the third year running!

A special mention goes to Mr Hayes for taking the wheel, and also to Mrs Robinson for preparing such delicious treats for all – a definite sense of team and community!

Gefeliciteerd allemaal!

Roll Back The Stone, the Easter Play

What a performance! Just before Easter, the children of the Kingfisher Class depicted the Easter Story with respect and reverence in their performance of ‘Roll Back The Stone.’ Their commitment, enthusiasm and talents really shone through with each and every child playing their part.  It was lovely to share this with the whole-school community . We are so proud of you all!
