Please see below for the days that children will be having P.E. this half term. We would ask that children bring their PE kits to school before their first PE session (kits will then remain on their pegs or in their lockers).
Note: for KS2 children taking part in swimming – costumes may be worn under uniform in the morning to speed changing. [Swimming = Year 6 the first half term, Year 5 February, Year 4 after Easter, and then Year 3]
Class | P.E. Day |
---|---|
EYFS – Nursery & Reception | Friday |
KS1 – Year 1 & Year 2 | Monday and Wednesday |
Lower KS2 – Year 3 | Monday and Thursday |
Lower KS2 – Year 4 | Tuesday and Wednesday |
Upper KS2 – Year 5 | Tuesday and Friday |
Upper KS2 – Year 6 | Wednesday (swimming) and Thursday |
A reminder that PE kit is an extension of our uniform and rules do apply:
All PE items should be proper uniform and both the PE kit and the bag containing it should be clearly named. PE kit consists of a white T-shirt, navy blue shorts or tracksuit bottoms, a navy hoodie or sweatshirt and optional school branded hoodie: https://stmaryssoutham.org.uk/uniform/
