Our Lenten Fundraising Events

This Lent, we are delighted to share a range of exciting fundraising events planned across the school. These activities have been chosen and organised by staff and pupils, allowing our children to live out the values of generosity and kindness in a meaningful way:

Non-Uniform Day Friday 13th March Children may come to school in their own clothes for a £1 donation (on Parent Pay or cash)
Hot Snack Sales 17th, 18th & 19th March Toast and crumpets will be available at break time in the Breakfast Club area for £1 per day (on ParentPay or cash).  Organised by Year 3/4.
EYFS Garden Sale Monday 23rd March

Our youngest learners plan to create bird feeders, garden decorations and will be planting seeds. These will be on sale in the EYFS garden

Year 1 & 2 Local
Area Fundraising Walk
TBC As part of their Spring 2 topic, pupils will take part in a sponsored local walk. Donations will be made via ParentPay.
Year 1 & 2 Teddy Bear’s Picnic & Cake Sale Thursday 26th March (afternoon) Families are invited to join us on the school field. Children will sell cakes they have baked in school and offer a small craft activity for a donation.
Break the Rules Day Friday 27th March Organised by Year 6, this hugely popular day allows children to ‘break’ a few fun school rules! Donations will be taken via ParentPay or by cash on the day.  £1 for each rule broken… more details to follow.

As we journey through Lent, we are reminded of the importance of service, compassion and putting our faith into action. Each year, our school supports Father Hudson’s Caritas, the social care agency of the Archdiocese of Birmingham, which works with families, vulnerable adults, young people and those experiencing hardship. Their mission is rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, offering dignity, hope and practical support to those who need it most.

Thank you, as always, for your support for our school’s mission. Together, we can make a real difference this Lent.
