Non-Uniform Day - Thursday 10th April

On the last day of term before the Easter break, we are having a Non-Uniform Day in aid of Father Hudson's Caritas.

We are asking for everyone who wears non-uniform to 'Pledge a Pound' (at least).  This can be handed to class teachers in the morning, or paid via ParentPay.

  • Despite it being non-uniform, please ensure children wear sensible shoes.
  • PE kit is not required for children who would ordinarily have PE on a Thursday.

Pope Francis has called on us all “to be tangible Signs of Hope for those of our brothers and sisters who experience hardships of any kind”.  Children and young people have a vital role in being signs of hope in an unfair world.

Lent is a time of sacrifice, meaning that it’s not all about us all of the time, it is when we challenge ourselves to be more prayerful, kind, generous, charitable and loving towards one another.

This lent we are asking all schools to Pledge a Pound for the Good Shepherd so Father Hudson’s Caritas can continue our vital work and further develop our services.
