OUT NOW: Our new Catholic Schools Inspection Report
…pupils and staff treat one another respectfully, and leaders work tirelessly to include everyone in activities. Staff are good role models to their pupils. They confidently demonstrate Christian behaviours and attitudes because of the head teacher’s model discipleship. Pupils feel loved; they speak eloquently about the care adults show them in school and how it makes them feel.
Inspection report, St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, 18-19 May 2023
We are pleased to share with you the results of our latest Catholic Schools Inspectorate visit. As a Catholic school, in addition to Ofsted inspections, we are also subject to Catholic Schools Inspections (formerly called Section 48 inspections). Our grade judgement continues to be “GOOD”.

Belated St George’s Day
MONDAY 24th APRIL
As we aren’t in school on actual St George’s Day, we didn’t want the children to miss out.
All children and staff (not just those in St George) are invited to accessorise their normal uniform with a red item, a St George flag or a red rose to celebrate England’s patron saint.
Stations of the Cross
If you missed our Stations of the Cross at the end of last term, you can see the photos and find out more about this Holy Week tradition here.
