New Christmas Dates

EYFS Christmas Stay and Play | Tuesday 13th December 2.00-3.20pm 
– We will be singing Christmas songs, doing Christmas crafts, and enjoying a mince pie!
(This is for all EYFS children even if they do not normally attend on that afternoon).

Whole School Advent Mass | Monday 28th November 09:15 – 10:15am
– We are looking forward to celebrating the start of Advent;
please join us at the church of Our Lady and St Wulstan (date change)

Change of Date – Class Masses

Father Arul has asked to move our regular class Masses to a Thursday going forward.
(The Whole School Mass will now take place on MONDAY 28th November).
Unless otherwise stated, Masses are at 09:15 at the church and all are welcome.
Please see revised days below and also on our Calendar.

17th November St Albert the Great | Year 4
24th November St Cecilia | Year 5
28th November 1st week of Advent | Whole School (Monday)
8th December 2nd week of Advent | Year 6
15th December 3rd week of Advent | Year 3

There is also a Key Stage 2 Carol Concert in church at 6pm on December 14th

Prayer for the Diocesan Vision

Written by the Liturgy and Worship group:

Spirit of God,
descend on me this day.
Grant me the Spirit of joy, to lift me,
the Spirit of hope to inspire me,
the Spirit of love to surround me and
the Spirit of truth to enlighten my path.

Holy Spirit,
I pray for a new outpouring of your grace,
so that I may grow in worship of your name
in love of you in my prayer
and in my actions towards others.

Come Holy Spirit into my life to guide me.
Strengthen and defend me,
so that I may be drawn ever closer to you.
Help me this day and always
to be a channel of grace
in all I say and do
and invite others into relationship with you.

Children’s Liturgy:

The parish would like very much to restart Children’s Liturgy at our Sunday 10.00am Mass. We are eager to welcome families with children to take part in the Sunday Eucharist regularly. Please share this information with your friends & families. Spread the word!
